Thank you Lady Patricia. It's nice to know there's another warm body on this forum, haha. ;-) It was kind of strange to fire up my computer and discover not a single other WiFi router anywhere within range!

I've spent some time tracing my genealogy on ancestry.com and others (Family Tree Maker originally) back five generations but ran into a dead end with my great-grandfather. I just moved to Deadwood about a month ago and am still getting moved in and haven't really had a chance to meet some of the folks in the area, but I'm looking forward to it.

Today was the perfect day. It was the first day in Deadwood that was sunny and warm enough to enjoy going outside since I moved here. Now I'm glad I did.

Looking for information on the original owner of our property in Deadwood. His name was Thomas Alexander and we know he was laid to rest in the Deadwood Cemetery, was a logger and never married. Could you help?

FYI for all: Pat is still actively helping folks search for genealogy info from the safety of home.
